The sample source code within the book list comments about the code afterward in a "#A, #B, etc" legend. That seems ok in the R book, but is really annoying here in the CL book. Would you mind using standard /* */ or // comments before each block of code instead of all afterward. It is not fun thumbing back and forth between pages (forward to the legend, backward to the code, repeat).

Re: Source code within book
Hi Matthew,

You have my deep sympathy, but it's Manning policy that all code comments are given as annotations (#A, #B, #1, and so on). These improve readability in the published book, but they're not helpful in the intermediate stages.

Best,
Matt

Re: Source code within book
Hi matthewv,

As Matt said, the MEAP files are just an intermediate step. In the final book/e-book, the annotations are displayed next to the relevant code in the listing. OpenCL requires longer listings, so the distance between the location in the code and its related annotation is probably more noticeable than it was in the R book.
