The identify() function is described in chapter 16 (not 17 as stated).

Also in the description of the identify() function in chapter 16 (16.4.1), it would be most helpful if you included the information that you can exit the function using the 'ESC' key. There was no "stop" for me to select! (I'm using R on a Mac, with Quartz window graphics).
