I think it would be very benefitial if there were clear explanation the differences between ServiceMix exchange and Camel exchange, ServiceMix message and Camel message. Is there a way to reach ServiceMix exchange object from Camel exchange?
Thanks!

Re: ServiceMix exchange and Camel exchange
The Camel book doesnt touch ServiceMix much. You may have to look for the Open Source ESB in Action book. And the upcoming ServiceMix in Action as well.

However that said, the SMX Exchange and Camel Exchange are almost identical. In Camel we simplified the API a bit and "folded" the fault message into a flag on the message to dictate if its a fault message or not.

Using Camel with SMX you use the JBI or NMR components to send message between the 2 of them.

See more details at
[http://camel.apache.org/jbi]

And the distribution of SMX contains examples which shows how to use SMX with Camel.
