Hi,

I get a blank screen after get all the files in place ...

I tried debugging and found out that $this->view->places is not exist...

when I removed this line
$this->view->places = $placesFinder->fetchLatest();
in
application/contorllers.IndexController.php,
the page manage to display the static message from the public/index.php ....

so without that line of code, I can't proceed with the next chapter..

any advice please ?

Have you set up the autoloader so that it can find the $placesFinder object?

http://akrabat.com/zend-framework/zend_loaders-autoloader_deprecated-in-zend-framework-18/ should provide the basic concepts required.

Re: Blank screen at Ch3
In my boostrap.php I make a the following changes :

// include 'Zend/Loader.php';
// Zend_Loader::registerAutoload();

require_once 'Zend/Loader/Autoloader.php';
$loader = Zend_Loader_Autoloader::getInstance();
$loader->registerNamespace('Places_');
$loader->setFallbackAutoloader(true);
$loader->suppressNotFoundWarnings(false);

but still getting a blank page.. The Places is inside the library/ . And Zend is reside this same library directory...

btw, may i kknow how to view the error logs?I am a very beginner to ZendFramework...

Re: Blank screen at Ch3
A call to phpinfo() will tell you the php.ini that's in use.
