I'm using linq in my project. The way I have it now, I have a DBML. I drag my tables to it or add my stored procs to it. I either use my stored procs or use the tables i added to the DBML.

My question is, should I implement a LINQ base class like these below? Partly it's for n-tier to have a base class, seems like but not sure if i need it:
