Hi

My name is Claus Ibsen and I am co-author on the Camel in Action book.
My fellow writers should be here soon as well to introduce themselves as well.

Please use this forum for any questions or feedback you may have in relation to the book or Apache Camel in general.

I have been working almost full time with Apache Camel for the last 2 years and thus have very solid knowledge how it works. And as my fellow writers we wrote the code so the book will include all the cool details.

We love feedback on the book and hope you enjoy helping us make this the Apache Camel bible that the project deserves and need. All together taking the Apache Camel project to the next level of great projects out there in the open source world.

You can check more about me at my blog

And I am on twitter as well

Welcome to the forum and Camel in action.

Re: Welcome to Camel in Action
Hi folks,

A 2nd welcome here from Jon. We'd love to hear your feedback about Camel in Action as it progresses.

Also, it's really early in books development so now would be the best time to suggest improvements smilie

Cheers,
Jon

Re: Welcome to Camel in Action
Hi

Thanks for the kind words.

The source code will be public available as we write the book. We have setup a site for it at:
http://code.google.com/p/camelinaction/

We will overhaul the source code and add more javadocs, comments, readme txt files etc.

So keep an eye on that site for progress.

Re: Welcome to Camel in Action
I have uploaded the current source code to the site at:
http://code.google.com/p/camelinaction/downloads/list

Note that this source code is a bit rough. We will improve that a lot for the next MEAP.

Re: Welcome to Camel in Action
The source code is located in the SVN and you can check it out / view it from:
http://code.google.com/p/camelinaction/source/checkout

We will from time to time zip the source code and attach it for easy download. But for people wanting the latest source code you can checkout / update from SVN.

Hi

We moved the source code from google code to github a few years ago I think.

The location is:
