Hi

great book on OpenLazslo, with great examples !

I've got questions though on the way to handle the data between client and server. The application i'm building is based on a MySql database.

On the client side, I've finalized the interface in OpenLaszlo and i can now create the data set for an order.

On the server side i want to build an interface in Openlaszlo, which will handle the orders coming from the clients (no reason why only the clients only get the goodies from OpenLazslo ! :0)).

From your book it is not obvious how to transmit the order to the server :
- does the server has a dataset that contains all on going orders ?
- is it better to send the XML order and store it in MySql using php ? Then how do i refresh the server interface when a new order is inserted ?

thanks in advance for your help !
