FYI, selector "parent/child" in the cheat sheets seems to be an XPath carryover from the pre 1.2 days, before the XPath selectors were moved out into a plugin (http://docs.jquery.com/DOM/Traversing/Selectors).

I tried "ul/li" in the selectors lab, and it does not work.
