Where do methods used as arguments to buildSessionFactory() declared?
ie:
getMappings()
getAnnotatedPackaged()
getXmlFiles()
I'm assuming this is something that reads meta data for domain classes.
A brief descriptive note would have helped. Can you reply when you have a moment. Cheers.

Re: Listing 11.3/P334
I meant the get methods, not the build itself. Sorry if that was unclear.

Re: Listing 11.3/P334
Well the get methods are in this class and can be overridden in subclasses tests as needed to simulate a custom configuration.

Re: Listing 11.3/P334
Is there an example later in book or download, that overrides this that shows a sample implementation?

I don't quite remember on top of my head but these methods are inherited from the Hibernate Search unit test suite. I would not be surprised if they were not used in the book example per se.

I'll keep my eyes peeled then when reading book. Will post back if other readers have same level of curiosity.
Does the Google code have features like Fisheye so I can go do a scan for method names?

You were correct. Unfortunately, no examples. Oh well.
