Dear Mr. Bernard and Mr. Griffin:

I recently purchased your book, "HibernateSearch in Action" and am very impressed with its contents. I am in the process of trying out your sample code, however, I noticed that while you have provided the sample Java code that is used in the book, I can't seem to find the sample data to populate the database tables for the application. Is this available anywhere, or is this something we simply must do on our own (i.e. create our own tables using our database of choice, and fill it using our dummy data)?

Just wondering. Thanks again for producing such an excellent book!

Sincerely;
Fayyaz

Re: Sample database code for DVDStore example in HibernateSearch in Action
Hi
Thanks for the book praises.

Hibernate automatically creates the database schema when the SessionFactory is started so you don't need to care about that.
The data, when needed are either:
- created by the unit tests
- imported to the database when the SessionFactory is started. The file named import.sql is used
