Hey, Rik

First of all, great book. Have been programming with PB for some time now and
only recently decided to give up my personal cache of classes for the PFC.
With the help of your book have finally stopped re-inventing the wheel, even
down to the most basic operations I'd otherwise just code manually without
thinking about it.

My comment has little to do with the technical aspect of the book, rather than
the physical...and its a gripe I have with almost ALL of the technical
documentation I have purchased.

Is there any chance you could talk Manning into spiral-binding their technical
manuals? I think any book that you leave open for any length of time at a
certain page while your hands are busy doing other things (i.e., cookbooks,
maps, etc.) should be so. I am tempted to take my PFC-PRM down to the print
shop and get them to do it.

Anyway, thanks for turning your personal notes into a workable reference manual.

Thanks so much Thomas for the kind words. An awful lot of work went into that
book. It started out as a simple listing... Where stuff is and one liners
about what it does. It was thanks to the initial reviews that I got that it
turned into what it is.

I did talk to Marjan Bace about alternatives for the binding. He seemed set on
the traditional style and I didn't press it. But I do know that he saw your
message because it came in while I was on the Jersey shore for the holidays
and he sent me e-mail telling me it was here. So he heard you. I'll mention it
again for the datawindow book. He's a very open minded man so we'll see.

What's this about a datawindow book? I could not find any reference to it on
the home page...
