I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to configure the Mule and ServiceMix transformation examples in Chapter 5 to access the weather service through our proxy server?

Re: Chapter 5 Transformation Examples - Firewall troubles
I've found the answer for ServiceMix....
It needed the following in the transformation-http-su bean

<http:endpoint service="wws:GlobalWeather" >
endpoint="wsEndpoint"
role="provider"
locationURI="http://www.webservicex.net/globalweather.asmx"
soap="true"
soapVersion="1.1"
soapAction="http://www.webserviceX.NET/GetWeather">

<http:proxy>
<http:proxyParameters proxyHost="proxyHost" proxyPort="8082">
<http:proxyCredentials>
<http:basicAuthCredentials username="testuser" password="testpass" />
</http:proxyCredentials>
</http:proxyParameters>
</http:proxy>
</http:endpoint>

I'm still struggling with the Mule example tho...

Re: Chapter 5 Transformation Examples - Firewall troubles
Hi,

For Mule, you can set the proxyHostname, proxyPort, proxyUsername and proxyPassword attributes on the http:connector. This should solve your problem with the proxy. Let me know if are still experiencing problems.

Best regards,

Tijs
