Hi,

Not sure if I'm missing something, though I couldn't find full examples of usage within source code as mentioned on p136:

"The complete code of PartialComparer on this book’s website
contains the appropriate utility method and examples of its use."

Re: PartialComparer
http://csharpindepth.com/Downloads.aspx

Then it is in the "Full Source", Other Chapters/Chapter4

[edit] hmmm... that said - it doesn't show much usage! Jon?

Oops. Guess I missed that one smilie

Will update the source code with some examples and then add a note on this thread. It won't be tonight, but it may be some time tomorrow or Friday.

Re: PartialComparer
Okay, it's there now. Download the full code, and look in the "OtherChapters" solution.

In the Chapter4 project I've included Product and ProductComparisonDemo.

In the Chapter9 project I've included Product again and ProductComparisonDemo2, which uses the ProjectionComparer class from MiscUtil, just to show how easy it can be to create comparisons using C# 3. (The actual code for ProjectionComparer is on the MiscUtil website - http://pobox.com/~skeet/csharp/miscutil)

Please let me know if any of this doesn't work, doesn't make sense, or is just plain missing!

Re: PartialComparer
Jon,

I've downloaded the full source, though unfortunately can't seem to find Product and ProductComparisonDemo in either Chapter's 4 & 9?

Andy
