The end of ยง5.5.5 talks about capturing index instead of counter.

Capturing index, the body of the anonymous method in listing 5.13 becomes

{
Console.WriteLine(index);
index++;
}

In which case the output is the numbers 5 to 13, not 5 to 14 as stated in the book. Nothing earth shattering, but I thought I would mention it ...

Dave

PS Still enjoying the book very much -- just got hardly any time to dedicate to reading at the moment smilie.

Re: Erratum: p 157, line 5.
Good catch. With that change, is the paragraph clear enough without any extra fixes? Do I need to explain the full change to the body of the anonymous method? (I can easily do that in the errata, but including it in the next printing would be tricky.)

I'll get on the case for putting up an erratum as soon as I have the time - although it may not be today as we're in the middle of moving house.

The text is clear enough in my opinion. The error just made me unsure for a moment...

Here's the erratum:

Hope that's clear enough!
