Hello,

I have a small observation about the cover smilie. On up wright corner it is written "Enterprise AOP with Spring". Maybe it is a typo and it should be written "Enterprise AOP with AspectJ". If it is not a typo then i don't understand why it should link AspectJ and Spring; AspectJ is a standalone framework and can be used whiteout Spring.

Thanks,
Adrian

Re: typo on the cover ?
In my experience, most uses of AspectJ these days are also Spring users. Therefore, given the focus of the book on being a practical guide to enterprise applications, Spring-AspectJ makes most useful combination. The title was chosen to reflect that focus.

That said, there are many examples (notably chapter 13 that show Swing with AspectJ) and I expect this edition to be as valuable to even those not using Spring.

Re: typo on the cover ?
Yes, you are right Ramnivas but for me this is to be too "marketing oriented" for me (just use the Spring buzz to sell AspectJ) smilie. I know that is just a detail but i really thought that it was a typo smilie

Thanks,
Adrian
