Re: How to create RTF file using HTML string (iText)
If you're on this forum, you have the book.
If you have the book, you know it's about PDF, not about RTF.
If you know this forum is about PDF, why do you ask about RTF?

Please post your question on the mailing list.
Don't post off-topic questions here.
Thanks!

Re: How to create RTF file using HTML string (iText)
Dear blowagie,

I know it. But we can create RTF files using this component. Thats why I asked.

If it is not possible with this component is there any other solution??

Please advice me.

Re: How to create RTF file using HTML string (iText)
iText doesn't have a full blown HTML parser.
That's the first problem. You'd have to use something like JTidy to change the HTML into XHTML.
Than you'd need to parse the HTML and use the specific iText RTF classes that correspond with the HTML tags.
I don't know much about those RTF classes. They were written by Mark Hall en Howard Shank.
You really should post this question on itext-questions@lists.sourceforge.net
