Hi,

When I ran the example Buttons.java of chapter15 of the iText in Action. It always gave me error. After I comment some lines like pushbutton.setAppearance(PdfAnnotation.APPEARANCE_NORMAL, normal); etc., the error was gone, but I couldn't see any radio buttons on buttons.pdf. Could anyone give me a hint?

this is the error:

Re: why radio buttons don't appear in PDF
I'm not sure where all those jasper exceptions come from.
Can you reproduce the problem when using a clean install?
I mean: there should be no org.apache.jasper stuff involved.
You are definitely doing something that is not iText releated.
The real exception is eaten by the JasperException, hiding what's really wrong.
(Based on your previous post, I'd say you're using a JDK 1.4 compiled iText.jar in a JDK 1.3 environment.)
