Hi all,

(Properly this is more a PDF challenge than a iText challenge)

I am looking for more a more attractive 'bookmark pane'. Please help to confirm:

Can we put graphics (icons, background) in bookmarks (PdfOutline) ?

Thanks a lot
Michael

Re: Can we put graphics in bookmarks (PdfOutline) ?
The PDF reference doesn't tell anything about setting the appearance of the 'icons' in the outline tree. Therefore it's up to the viewer application to decide what graphics to use. The only styles that can be applied to the entries in the bookmark pane are:
C array
(Optional; PDF 1.4) An array of three numbers in the range 0.0 to 1.0, representing
the components in the DeviceRGB color space of the color to be used for the outline entry’s text. Default value: [ 0.0 0.0 0.0 ].
F integer
(Optional; PDF 1.4) A set of flags specifying style characteristics for displaying
the outline item’s text (see Table 8.5). Default value: 0; 1 = Italic; 2 = Bold.
