The web application has been inspired by the book Ajax in Action. I just wanted to see how far one can go using the concepts from the book. For client server interactions it uses the ContentLoader object from chapter 9.
Live-Chess is an application that allows playing and watching chess as well as public and private chats on the internet. Only a JavaScript enabled browser is needed.

Now that the app is finished, I am inviting chess players in order to test the various features. So, why don't you come to and play some chess. I'll be there daily from 9-10pm (GMT+1).

Looking forward to see you there.

Re: Ajax enabled web application
I'm looking for an app i can add to my web site that will enable people to review all my games (over 400). Ideal would be a feed from a mysql database. Could I adapt your app for such a purpose?

Re: Ajax enabled web application
Are you looking for a frontend that allows to manually replay games that are stored in a database in a web browser? If that is the case, I'm quite sure that it would be easier to develop it from scratch.

Re: Ajax enabled web application
Is it possible that I can use this application for my website, I have overviewed it and it is just about ideal for my purposes. This app still has some glitches though in the login system. Verification would be a good thing, otherwise you would be spammed with webbots that people create for spamming....

also, it will not stay logged in.... might be useful....
