just wondering if its possible to handle a redirect.
I'm doing a request and filter some data of that response. And put that Data in a Div.
The problem is that the Browser is doing a redirect to a page and causes that my page in the Browser is changing to the redirected page.

Is it possible either to block the redirect or can I call my method (which I specify in the Contenloader call) if the requestobject has get/ done the redirected content?

thx for ur suggestion

Re: XMLHTTPRequest and redirect
ok may be some more information.

Im getting a response. And in the HTML header is written

<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="10;url=http://www.whatever.com" />

that causes an reload of my Browserwindow, although im not using anything of this XHR. Its just a variable.
I tried to delete this line, but it didnt help. So is there a way to Block that refresh?

Re: XMLHTTPRequest and redirect
Remove it manually from the responseText if that is where it is coming from. Only way to block it is to either change browser settings to not allow meta refreshes or to not have it on the page to begin with.

by that: "Remove it manually from the responseText if that is where it is coming from."

You mean the php -file on the Server, which generates the response.
Or do you mean if I get the response, I should remove the Meta-Refresh-Element?!

Because I tried to delete that element, when I get the response, but it doesn't helped.
Maybe I made something wrong while deleting, if u say it should work by deleting.
