I really want to get the dom inspector working within my Firefox But for whatever reason, I cannot find out where the installer is, or what is actually needed to get the plug in installed.

Could someone please explain how this works? I have spent many hours on the Mozilla web site trying to get this information.

Re: dom inspector
Download Firebug: http://radio.javaranch.com/pascarello/

Also look for the link for the IE Developer toolbar on there.

Re: dom inspector
Firefox's default DOM Inspector tool is installed when you install Firefox, but the option is disabled by default. You have to select the Advanced Installation and check the option. So you'll need to reinstall Firefox. To avoid the pain, as pointed above, you can use Firebug, which has a DOM Inspector included in it.
